Open Wide is a french Open Source technology and software integrator. Founded in 2001, Open Wide is today the national leader among portal integrators.

Target Market

An Open Source components architect and integrator, Open Wide targets three distinct Open Source solution markets : industry-targeted solutions, portal and collaborative solutions, and information system integrated solutions.

R&D Department

Open Wide's expertise in Open Source technologies and components is an historical asset, thanks to Open Wide's R&D Department.

In the field of information system application integration, Open Wide's R&D Department interests are BPM and Workflow, XML exchanges and Web Services (Service Oriented Architectures).

Open Wide belongs to the ESB Initiative within the Objectweb consortium and is a partner of the Open Source JBI ESB PEtALS-centered ObjectWeb JoNES Project. As such it has integrated features like a database connector, entreprise integration pattern support and the Objectweb / Bonita Open Source Workflow engine

Open Wide, along with the University of Augsburg, Germany, is Project Lead of the Eclipse JWT Project (Java Workflow Toolbox). As a SCOrWare partner, Open Wide is at the origins of the platform's BPM and Workflow vision, and aims to deliver a comprehensive, integrated toolset building on the Eclipse JWT platform.
